Travelers Rest Farm is a working horse farm!

Boarding/400$  a month

Field /open stall access/twice a day feed and care

You can take a riding lesson, or just enjoy the horses from the yard. All horses are well trained and ridden - we also give lessons in horsemanship for beginners. 

The horses are used for different things some are competing in Eventing, a equestrian sport what includes dressage, show jumping and cross country jumping. 

We also start young horses  and give confidence back to rescued and abused horses. A couple of seniors are grazing  the field or go for a swim in the pond after they have worked hard all their life and enjoy the safety and company of the herd. 

Our horses are most of the time outside in the field, we turn them out in pairs to reduce injuries. Stalls are available for our horses or our Horse Hotel guest.

We are welcome horses with current coggins and or health certificate.

The Barn is a old barn, we had weddings in the barn and every year the 2nd sunday of November we host the German Christkindle market. 30 vendors are spread out over the barn anmd farm. German, french and local food vendors

as german music and horse demonstrations make this day a every year family event. Come and join the fun.
