In the mid 1700`s George Washington would stop and rest here on his travels between Washington and Williamsburg. The house sits atop a scenic knoll that benefits from quiet sunrises and serene sunsets. It is  ready for you to enjoy as a great getaway for family, friends, newlyweds or "just me time". 

Your time is truly your time at Travelers Rest. This place is amzing for your wedding venue. Or your visit can be customized to suit each individual. 

Travelers Rest has been beautifully renovated preserving the history without sacrificing the comforts. Upstairs you will find two large bedrooms, one with a king size bed, the second with two twin beds and sharing a full bath. Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom and laundry room.
